Sagalassos
FOX SAGALASSOS STANDARD is a cement and polymer dispersion based decorative coating system that can be applied to any surface indoors and outdoors, UV resistant, anti-slip, with high strength and abrasion resistance. Layer build-up: FOX UNIPRIMER FL555 primer (+ reinforcement mesh), two coats of FOX DOMINO® BASECOAT BC mixed with FOX DOMINO® POLYMER SG, sanding and transition primer between coats, FOX DOMINO® AC SEALER FD791 and FOX PURATHANE® TOPCOAT WB top coat. The surface is shaped with a trowel.
10 colour chart shades; all colours are obtained in the mix with FOX DOMINO® COLOR WB pigment. The colour choice does not change the layer build-up.
About Sagalassos Standard
The coating can be walked on after 24 hours at 25 °C and reaches its final strength in 28 days. Consumption figures are given for ideal conditions at +20 °C; a site visit by our expert team is recommended before the system solution.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Which surfaces is the system applied to?
It is applied over existing surfaces such as concrete, screed, ceramic tile and marble without removing them. The concrete must be at least 28 days old and of class C20, with a tensile strength of ≥1.5 N/mm² and moisture ≤4%; the surface must be wetted before application without ponding. -
How are the colours obtained?
White is the stock colour; the 10 shades on the colour chart and the intermediate tones obtained by mixing are produced by adding FOX DOMINO® COLOR WB pigment to the polymer. The colours on the chart may differ from the original depending on the printing technique and the ambient light. -
What is the difference between Standard and Touch?
Both are the same cement and polymer dispersion based system; the texture comes from the application technique. Standard gives a smooth trowelled surface, while Touch, with the textured FOX DOMINO® BASECOAT BC TOUCH, gives a surface with trowel marks. -
How is it maintained?
No initial maintenance is required. Dust and dirt are removed with a vacuum cleaner and a microfibre mop; alcohol-based cleaners developed for decorative coatings, such as FOX CLEANER FR340, are used diluted to 1-5%. -
What determines the Standard texture?
The applicator's trowel technique. With the same product and colour, every application gives a unique surface depending on the direction and density of the trowel marks; confirmation with a sample is recommended.
